I have the same mug – LOVE IT.

  2. Kate says:

I totally understand how you feel! Right now I'm sitting here while Aida naps, feeling kind of overwhelmed with housework that needs to be done, but also not wanting to do it…and still feeling tired! Motherhood is such a mess of contradictions πŸ™‚

  3. Stang&Co says:

Ok LOVE that mug. And cartoons are actually super impressive! Try the baby channel if you haven't- a lot of them are kind of weird but everything is letters and words and manners and honestly teaches more and is more engaging than boring old mom sometimes πŸ˜‰

  4. DRD says:

I feel the same way as you- a lot of things to do (my MCAT exam is in 2 days!), but I am so bored from doing it- seriously. Also, I NEED THAT MUG!

  5. I would trade all the nights out for one in with my family too. The good old days were fun, but nothing beats family time. PS- I want that creamer recipe girllll! XO!

  6. Caitlin M. says:

I love this post! I think sacrificing sleep for quality time with your loved ones is always exhausting but so fulfilling! I'm in a similar position right now and I wouldn't have it any other way! Also – definitely having coffee while reading it so, we pretty much were having coffee together this morning and I loved it!

  7. I must have missed something, what is your healthy creamer?

I totally learned things through watching cartoons/kids programing. Mr. Rodgers is all about lessons!

  8. How thoughtful was he to get that mug for you?! Too perfect!

  9. Claire says:

where did you get that mug!!??? LOVE!!

  10. Love love love our coffee dates! Hoping for a real-life one soon πŸ™‚

  11. Your first post mentioning your homemade creamer made me decide to switch. I still have some of 'the bad stuff' at work and at home, but once they're gone, I'm going to make the healthy stuff in the empty bottles!

  12. Michelle says:

BROWN DRINK. I'm laughing so hard.

  13. That's the best – when your life is so jam packed with greatness that it tires you out in the best way. I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying yourself!

  14. The "brown drink" article is cracking me up! ha!

  15. That mug is great! And even more awesome that your husband found it without any help πŸ˜‰ Ok, that article is the best thing I've read in a few days! "How do you even pronounce β€˜orange’? Is it a soft β€˜G’ like in β€˜gif,’ or a hard β€˜G’ like in β€˜gif’?” – HAHA. So good. All of it.

  16. Your updates on little Jack are always so sweet, I swear he is the cutest baby!!

  17. Ohh I love your blog SO much. <3

  18. Love that mug! I can totally relate to being overwhelmed and bored at the same time…that usually tells me I need to change the things I'm filling my days with, since obviously they aren't things I'm passionate about!

  19. Courtney says:

How cute that he got you that mug on his own! #keeper

So many people are down on screen time, but I'm not! I love the stuff my girls have learned from watching shows. Heck, me too lol!

  20. I absolutely love your mug! I am so with you on the first two sentences. XOXO I'm laughing about the #BrownDrink!

  21. I saw that mug at Francesscas. It was so cute. Change is really hard and I think it takes more of a toll than we realize. I know you will adjust with time and I'm glad you can stay home with Jack.

Also, having a husband in medicine does make for some really weird schedules! My husband is in the ER as a P.A. and it has been a big adjustment.

  22. Crystal says:

I love posts like these. πŸ™‚

I also love the brown drink article. So funny!

  23. I loved reading this and I'm totally getting that mug:) The one thing on my mind right now is that I want summer to never end so I can enjoy it to the fullest. Kisses, darling.

  24. I know the feeling of being so tired yet you can't help but just count your blessings. I'm not a huge fan of TV, but I certainly don't think there's anything wrong with it if it's in moderation of course! And honestly, sometimes it's a life saver for me to get something done or get ready in the morning! πŸ™‚
