Hi, I'm Chelsea! I’m on a mission to help you find joy and goodness in every day.
On this blog we talk about the big things (like chasing dreams) and the small things (like what books we're reading) because happiness comes in all sizes.
Happy November!
I absolutely love this month. It’s the only month we get to celebrate fall things, Thanksgiving, and Christmas things! Plus, we’ve been getting some cool(er) weather down here, and it’s just felt magical.
This month flies. It always does. If there are things you want to do, you’ve got to make time for them. Of course, I’ve got a few suggestions.
Sunsets. || Since they’re so freaking early now, you may have to make this a weekend thing, but it’s worth it. It’s hard to be stressed out about minor, day to day things when you’re staring up at a sky way bigger than you turning into a masterpiece.
Creativity. || Whether it’s making your table pretty for Thanksgiving or making handprint turkeys with a kid (or by yourself – no judgement here!), take some time to be creative this month. In a season where we’re go-go-go, slowing down to do something just for the sake of creativity can really bring some joy.
Yourself. || Seriously. Don’t let your tank get empty. Take breaks. Take bubble baths. Take walks. Take for yourself.
People. || Your people. The people that make this time of year happy for you.
Also, this meme gets me every year and this seems like an appropriate place to put it:
Good food. || What’s your favorite Thanksgiving food? Make it, even if it’s time consuming.
Things that make you happy. || When you think of Novembers past, what makes you happy? Do those things. Simple as that.
Gratitude. || Thankfulness isn’t just for Thanksgiving, but there’s no better month to start!
Traditions. || Old or new. With family, with friends, with just yourself. Traditions are special, especially this time of year.
What will you be making time for this month? Tell me!

Mashed Potatoes. Forever, and ever. I’m literally already hungry for Thanksgiving food, but love this month too – so I’m not wishing it away just yet!
Love this! I am making time with my people for Thanksgiving and the whole month of December. It’s going to be a wonderful holiday! 🙂
Eat them. LOL
Seriously, though. Haha. I love this list. I wake up with the sunrise for work and it’s right outside my bedroom window. I love laying there an extra few minutes to take it in.
YES! I’m so excited for all the Thanksgiving food and plan on eating a few people this holiday season, TBH.

I always joke that this is my busy season and I’ll see you in January. It’s so good to be mindful and try and slow it down!
