Pep Talks
Hi, I'm Chelsea! Iām on a mission to help you find joy and goodness in every day.
On this blog we talk about the big things (like chasing dreams) and the small things (like what books we're reading) because happiness comes in all sizes.
1. Get that haircut you’ve been talking about forever.
2. Make a list of all the not-so-fun things you need to do in March. If you start now and spend a few minutes a day on them, they’ll be done in no time.
3. Handwrite a letter.
4. Download the blogilates app. Because bathing suit season is upon us, my friends.
5. Watch Parenthood from the beginning.
6. Start planning a road trip for summer.
7. Practice your iced coffee making skills.
8. Download an audiobook. Instead of turing on the radio on your commute, listen to a book.
9. Buy some spring-colored nail polish.
10. Go through your closet. You know all those clothes you didn’t wear last summer, or this winter, but are still in your closet? Let ’em go.
11. Wake up 15 minutes earlier than you normally do. And have an extra 15 minutes to spend on yourself.
12. Buy yourself some new workout clothes. Nothing inspires you to work out quite like looking cute while doing so.
13. Make an outdoor bucket list. Picnics? Concerts? Yes, please.
14. Write a poem.
15. Adopt a puppy.
16. Pay for the coffee of the person behind you in line.
17. Make green cocktails.
18. Work on being present. Leave your phone alone every now and then.
19. Delete your old emails.
20. Have a night where you make your favorite meal and watch your favorite movie. Bonus points if you turn your phone off, too.
21. Find a drive-in. Or a park that plays outdoor movies!
22. Get a cute water bottle or tumbler. And drink more water!
23. Pick one of your resolutions you’re not doing so hot on and work on it this month.
24. Secretly give someone a gift. The dollar section at Target is just full of fun things to secretly leave on someone’s desk!
25. Plan a trip to the beach. Your favorite beach…or any beach! Don’t let the warm weather months pass you by without swimming in the ocean at least once.
26. Wear flowers in your hair. At least once. But let’s get real, now through September is prime hair flower-wearing time.
27. Write book reviews for all the books you’ve read this year.
28. Go to Sonic. Because eating cheese tots and drinking a cherry limeade with your feet hanging out the window is lunch-break bliss.
29. Go see a movie premiere at midnight.
30. Learn a new card game.
31. Enter to win a tiny Polaroid camera!

The little things in this post are what get me. Buying a cute tumblr for instance and drinking more water! And of course, iced coffee and wearing flowers your hair. š
I've been talking about getting my hair cut for a month now and finally got it scheduled for next week. I keep going back and forth between doing the post wedding chop [1.5 year's later ;)] or just a good trim to keep the length. I can't wait!
A great list! I definitely need to start tackling some of those not-so-fun projects this month (like taxes, and organizing my kitchen cabinets) but there will definitely also be time for some green cocktails!
ADOPT A PUPPY. also all the beach trips. I'm so ready for the sunshine. SO ready.
Love all of these! I definitely want to start waking up early so I'm not always rushing out the door! I also entered the giveaway! I have been dying for a polaroid! š
I really want to be able to get up earlier…when it's darker in the morning may not be a good time to start trying? LOL But it would be nice to have those extra minutes.
I'm moving into my first house in t-minus a few days, and I FINALLY GET A PUPPY!
Love your list! Spring definitely gives us a renewed sense of motivation I feel like! I'm.definitely down to watch Parenthood from the beginning!
Handwritten letters and flowers in my hair are really just my two favorites of all time (:
I LOVE spring colored nail polish and waking up an extra 15 minutes to enjoy that sunshine sounds like a GREAT plan to me!
#1. How did you know I've been obsessing over cutting my hair?
I'm so excited for Sonic cherry limeade season! Love this list! I really, REALLY need to purge the closet.
Always love your monthly lists! My family owned a drive in growing up and it remains one of my favorite (and nostalgic) spring/summer activities!
I got my mom hooked on Parenthood. I constantly text her to ask where she is. I think a rewatch may be in order for me too!
What a clever to-do list!
How did I not know about this blogilates app? What a lifesaver! I already have one of these things in the works, I have a hair appointment to do something fun to my hair that I've been wanting to do for ages š
I love this list! I want to start watching Parenthood, every really seemed to love it! I also need to spring clean, that closet one is a must-do!
I just downloaded Winnie The Pooh on audiobook. I remember my mom and I listening to it when I was little and man am I excited to drive around while it's playing! Happy March, my friend!
I need a new spring color.
Going to a drive-in is on my list of things I definitely need to do (I think it's on my 40 by 40, actually) and while I don't like audiobooks, I've started listening to podcasts more often. And summer road trip is already planned (that's what happens when you're stuck in the house, dreaming of warm weather)!
Ohh, what is this app you speak of!? I'll have to look into that!
A few things: 1) I'm totally getting a haircut this month (and something a tiny bit different than the trim I've resorted to for the last year! 2) What is this blogilates app?! Checking it out! 3) I am the iced coffee making master if I do say so myself š and 4) I was a lucky duck and won a tiny Polaroid camera on Instagram recently. Clearly, I'm set for March! Love this list š
Great list! I got the haircut I've been talking about forever right after New Years Day. And I bought some of the OPI Hawaii collection today!
Such great ideas. Handwritten letters are so scarce these days I think that might be my fave on the list!
