Hi, I'm Chelsea! I’m on a mission to help you find joy and goodness in every day.
On this blog we talk about the big things (like chasing dreams) and the small things (like what books we're reading) because happiness comes in all sizes.
Hi from me, who just found out via phone call with my mom that this weekend is the last weekend before Thanksgiving, so I am currently coming to terms with that. Like, what? What a weird, stupid fast, insanely slow year.
I digress.
It’s been a bit since I posted my recent favorites, and I’ve got some good ones, so I wanted to share! Note: The links below are affiliate links, and if you click on them I may make a few cents. Thank you for your support!
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you’ve probably heard me rave about my ice roller. Ice rolling my face is one of my favorite things. Lately, though, it hasn’t been cutting it for me, so I’ve been taking straight ice and massaging my face with it. This is messy. So when I saw this, I clicked buy SO fast.
It feels FREAKING AMAZING. I’m now using this one and my ice roller every day. Am I okay? No, I am puffy and tired, thanks for asking!!!
I saw a TikTok about a girl using retinol eye cream to deal with little bumps around her eyes (hi I have those!) but the one she shared was $89, so I refrained. I decided to try this $12 one from Sephora’s inky list brand, and I’ve really been enjoying it – I definitely think the area around my eye is smoother for it.
I’ve got a full review on this coming soon, but small spoiler, I love it. I had no idea it wasn’t just a special occasion rental site anymore! We got a random cold spell much earlier than usual and I wasn’t ready to commit to a coat yet – I’ve got a few I’m in love with that I never would have been able to afford purchasing outright. PS: That link gives you 50% off your first month if you want to try it!
This sounds weird but I’m gonna need you to hear me out – I got this with the intention of using it for self tanner on weird spots like my knee, but I did my makeup with it instead and HOLY MOLY. it takes HALF the time to blend in as a normal beauty blender. And it’s a lot smoother – I’m never going back.
