Things Making my Summer Better

I loooove summer. Like, a lot. There are a few things making my summer significantly better, so I thought I’d share!

Listen, I know we all laughed at this when I bought it in March, but let me tell you: It’s still going strong and I am still loving it! It’s comfy and it’s so nice to be able to read a book or be on your phone without being hunched over. AKA, it’s a lazy pool day dream.

This setting spray. 

Do you ever find a product that you love so much, you feel anxious that you may one day have to live without it? I had the fight the urge to order 10 more after using this the first time. It is, hands down, the best setting spray I’ve ever used. Wearing makeup in July in Florida is a JOKE, but this somehow works. I have cried in it and sweat in it, and it’s passed both tests. The way it mists out is almost like an airbrush finish and it’s AMAZING. I also throw it in my purse and spray it on my face when I get hot (which is a lot, because, summer in Florida).

These shadow sticks. 

On the note of makeup in Florida, holy moly these are GOLD. They’re $5, so shimmery and pretty, and last all day. I bought three colors and it makes doing eye makeup so easy. These are gorgeous.

This dress. 

I will start by saying that as a member of the itty bitty titty committee, I do not know how well this dress will work if you are blessed with boobs (WISH I COULD RELATE BUT ALAS, I cannot). But if you’re small chested, this dress is EVERYTHING. It’s so light and cool (have I mentioned how hot it is yet?) and super stretchy. I’ve worn it at least once a week since I got it. There’s something nice about being able to throw something on in the summer and looking put together even though you did absolutely zero work.
