Hi, I'm Chelsea! I’m on a mission to help you find joy and goodness in every day.
On this blog we talk about the big things (like chasing dreams) and the small things (like what books we're reading) because happiness comes in all sizes.
The Myron Bolitar Series by Harlan Coben
I’ve read the first six of these and CANNOT get enough. I love these characters so freaking much. Don’t let the fact that these were published so long ago keep you from reading them – they’re SO good. Ridiculously lovable characters, amazing storylines, incredible writing. 10/10!
Too Good to Be True by Carola Lovering
This was a RIDE. I ate it up. It was twisty in the very best ways…and I hated the ending. That said, I still think it’s worth the read, because it was a mind bender.
Leave the World Behind by Rumaan Alam
While incredibly well-written, this book was bizarre. BIZARRE. And not in a cool way. I have a billion and four thoughts on this, so if you’ve read it, please tell me. If you haven’t, skip it. I stuck it out because I needed to know what was going on, and spoiler alert: You never find out.
The Truth Hurts by Rebecca Reid
A twisty little page turner that was, well, twisted. I read it in two days, but I also just had to read the description to remind me what it had been about, so it clearly didn’t stick with me. I saw it compared to A Simple Favor, and I agree! If you liked that book, read this one.
Two Truths and a Lie by Megan Mitchell Moore
This reminded me of if Big Little Lies was set in a Elin Hilderbrand novel. I loved it. Beachy and mysterious!
What have you read lately and do I need to add it to my list?

Finished Too Good to be True last night and I hated the ending, too!
I’m currently reading The Hunting Wives and it’s so good! It’s kind of like Desperate Housewives and Big Little Lies combined.
You’re review of Too Good To Be True is dead on! I couldn’t get through it fast enough, but that ending…….NOT good! I would still recommend it as well though!
Oh sign me up for two truths and lie!! I haven’t read any of these!! xo, Biana BlovedBoston
“I stuck it out because I needed to know what was going on, and spoiler alert: You never find out.” This is the same reason that I kept reading Leave The World Behind too! I have some theories of what might have been happening, there were enough clues to satiate me. But I suppose never finding out was part of it, right? It doesn’t matter what ends it, what matters is how you spend those last moments, yeah?
Good to see your posts, friend xo
You have me intrigued by the Myron Bolitar series… I love a good mystery. Bummer about some of the meh books. I’m always amazed by your reading totals, though! I think that pool helps 😀
