Hi, I'm Chelsea! I’m on a mission to help you find joy and goodness in every day.
On this blog we talk about the big things (like chasing dreams) and the small things (like what books we're reading) because happiness comes in all sizes.
Gooooood morning. It’s super early and dark and quiet. Jack is still asleep, which explains that last one.
I’m on my third cup of coffee and just wanted to come get some words out. I’ll be honest, all of November has kind of just blurred together. Jack’s school was shut down the first two weeks, which happened to line up with the busiest two weeks of work I’ve had all year, so that was. . .that.
The good news is that he went back to school on Monday. The other news is that when I was dropping him off, they said, “Don’t forget about thanksgiving break!” I asked, “When is Thanksgiving break?” They said,”Next week!” I asked,”What part of next week?” They cheerfully infored me it was the whole week.
He’ll have gone to school five days in November.
So.
In other weird news, I went to Target yesterday for a normal grocery run, and it was like mid-shutdown all over again. Alllll the paper products had been ravaged. We’re back to limiting people to one cleaning product. Weird times.
Speaking of weird times, I hope that you have lots of bright spots in your life right now, but I especially hope you choose to let Thanksgiving be a bright spot. I’m assuming Thanksgiving will look a lot different for most of us this year, but that’s okay, it can still be a bright spot.
Cook (or order!) something delicious, watch Santa bring in the magic during the parade, enjoy the company of whoever you get to be with, FaceTime whoever you don’t. It’s different, but we’re pros at different by now, aren’t we?
Things making my life better:
Enjoy your coffee, your morning, your day. Sending you extra, extra love. xo

They just shut down all schools here again… so my niece went 0 days in November. You parents are rockstars. Sending love your way!
The pants! The freaking pants are everything.
We are pros at different now.
Anything that entertains the kiddos for more than 2 minutes is a huge win in my book! We have all definitely become pros at adjusting and different this year, here is to finishing the year out strong! Have a great weekend!
FIVE DAYS. Wow. Sending sanity. And also, you should 100% share your playlist, thanks.
I can’t handle how cute Jack is. I really can’t.
Such lovely bright spots. I’m looking forward to staying home and cozy. We’ll be seeing our parents, but I’ve never had *chill* holidays so I’m strangely looking forward to it this year!
