Hi, I'm Chelsea! I’m on a mission to help you find joy and goodness in every day.
On this blog we talk about the big things (like chasing dreams) and the small things (like what books we're reading) because happiness comes in all sizes.
Two quick things about this post: One: I am not anti-body hair. I’m anti-my own personal body hair, as in I choose to remove it because that’s what I like. I have no judgement for you if you don’t, and honestly am kind of a little jealous that I did not receive that personal preference myself. Two: I have SUCH sensitive skin all over my body, and have suffered with razor burn since I started shaving. So when I tell you I’ve tried it all, I mean it.
This oil. || I remember seeing this on Shark Tank, but finally tried it a few months ago. It is, hands down, the best oil I’ve ever used. It has decreased irritation from shaving SO much. It’s expensive, but worth it. A little goes a long way.
This scrub. || Those little KP bumps cause so much irritation when I shave, and this helps reduce them DRASTICALLY. Again, a little goes a long way!
These pads. || These are magical. Pro-tip: With any sort of pads like these, cut them in half as soon as you get them. You literally just cut your cost in half.
This shaving cream. || The coconut mango scent smells like a vacation! This is so creamy and hydrating. You can find it at Target and it lasts forever!
This lotion.|| Dry skin and razor burn tend to go hand in hand. I prefer oil over lotion, but after I shave my legs this really seals in the good stuff.
Any recommendations to add to my never-ending journey of fighting razor burn?

The shaving cream just LOOKS like it smells good, lol. I don’t struggle with skin irritation when it comes to shaving, but I do struggle with it on my face in regards to skin care. Sigh. I wish I didn’t mind the hair either, lol- but I do.
