Hi, I'm Chelsea! I’m on a mission to help you find joy and goodness in every day.
On this blog we talk about the big things (like chasing dreams) and the small things (like what books we're reading) because happiness comes in all sizes.
Jack,
I always imagine you reading these when you’re much older, so I will go ahead and be honest with you here: I had no idea Pre-K graduations were a thing. But I’m so glad they are, because this year totally deserves to be celebrated.
You haven’t had a normal preschool experience. You started and stopped, went through shutdowns and quarantines, didn’t get to say goodbye to friends and teachers, started a new class without me ever getting to see the inside, wore a mask and had to distance from classmates every day. And through all of it, you learned and grew and honestly, thrived. You are so resilient.
From the very second I found out about you, up until this very day, I’ve had a familiar though on a loop in my mind: I can’t wait to watch who you become.
The last year has been full of watching you become, and it’s the greatest honor of my whole life to see. You are kind, you are witty, you are hilarious. You have the biggest heart. You care about everyone else so much. You are stubborn – almost as stubborn as me. Your brain is a steel trap that forgets absolutely nothing. You inform me of your mood the second you wake up, and if it’s good, you sing a song. You light up everyone’s life who is lucky enough to know you.
Simply put, you are everything.
Watching you gives me so much hope. For this year, for next year, for the future, for forever.
I love you forever. xo
