The Rest of The Year, The Best of The Year.

Okay I’m going to level with you, even typing that felt fake. Because WHAT A CRAPPY YEAR, am I right?

Anyway, October is here, and I’ve been thinking about how that’s always the brightest spot for me. It kicks off my favorite three months of the year. We get fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas. It’s full of my favorite music and food and crafts with Jack and parties with friends. It’s the best.

It feels weird to be excited about something like pumpkins and crafts in a year that has been insanely terrible, but also…I have to.

I am so freaking determined to end the year on a good note. If that means I have to fill my house to the brim with pumpkins, then dang it, that’s what it means.

But really, the last three months of the year are always filled with magic. The last three months of a crap year are no different. There’s still magic, we just might have to work a little harder at making it this year.

SO. Some magical things I want to remind you of: Little kids in costumes / DOGS in costumes / The Autumn in New York music station / cooler weather / sweaters / pumpkin and apple flavored everything / magic / magic / magic / magic / magic.

It’s coming, let’s chase it.

The rest of the year, the best of the year.

Because it HAS to be.
