What I'm Learning
Hi, I'm Chelsea! I’m on a mission to help you find joy and goodness in every day.
On this blog we talk about the big things (like chasing dreams) and the small things (like what books we're reading) because happiness comes in all sizes.
The softest material, the perfect fit, I’m obsessed with all of it. And we know I’m a SUCKER for some leopard print. Don’t wanna wash your hair? This hat is there for you. Wanna add a little something extra to your outfit? Ding ding, here ya go! Your ears are cold? This hat’s GOT you. (I think you need this hat…can you tell?)
Okay, so this isn’t a new discovery. I’ve seen people raving about Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi forever. I’ve tried it (and tried it, and tried it), and every time I’ve ever made it it’s turned out to be squishy and not at all gnocchi-like. Then I found this blog post on how to cook it and NOW I GET IT. Basically: ignore the instructions on the back, add ZERO water, and put it straight in the pan frozen. *chef’s kiss*
Coolest. App. Ever. There’s a giant database of recipes. You scroll through and choose your meals for the week. It asks what you already have, makes you a grocery list, and lets you export that list to the delivery service of your choosing. You get all the ingredients for your meals delivered, and when you’re ready to cook them, just open your app and it walks you through the recipe. It’s GENIUS, has saved me so much time, has saved me money, and reduced how much food I was wasting.
I have suuuuper sensitive skin. I love getting my eyebrows done, but I break out after. I went with my friend to get hers done a few weeks ago and the person doing hers recommended this stuff. Just swipe it on right after, and you don’t break out (also works for preventing razor burn)!
While I didn’t “discover” this in November, I’ve been listening to it tons this month, and it’s been so good I wanted to include it here. If you like self-improvement that gives you actual steps to take to make your life better, you’ll love this.
