Amen and amen. I'm working to remove these from my life :)!

  2. Can we get a round of applause for this post. I love your positive attitude and you spread it around so wonderfully.

  3. I agree with all of these, especially clutter. I went through my closet a lot this year and am sooo happy that it's no longer overwhelming. It was hard to get rid of clothes (I would see a shirt I haven't worn in a year, but then I'd immediately NEED it when I tried to give it away), but now I barely even remember what clothes I donated.

  4. Amen to all – especially jealousy and comparison. Be too busy watering your own grass to notice if someone else's is greener.

  5. I was the bad kind of tired for sure yesterday, and couldn't agree more about the jealousy. Truer words have never been spoken šŸ™‚

  6. MakeMeUpMia says:

Amen girl, you know I love your outlook on life and feel exactly the same!

  7. Cole Nemeth says:

Lovely list! I, too, am a messy person by nature. I try my best to keep my home clean and organized, but I don't even realize when I'm leaving stuff out. So I constantly give things away. Less possessions = less stuff to leave laying around! And I spend way too much time being the bad kind of tired.

Also, say goodbye to bad habits, no matter how hard they hard to give up.

  8. I would love to say goodbye to all of these things- I am working on it!

  9. I really need to get rid of the clutter from my life. It is a major source of stress and I can't handle it.

  10. Brittany says:

Yes!! Especially clutter and the bad kind of tired. I am always surprised at how much happier/relaxed I am when my space is clean and clutter free.

  11. Danielle says:

I totally agree with this!! Great post!! I think people overlook the importance of being clutter free! It really does have an impact.

Such a good point about the bad kind of tired – I hate that grouchy, anxious feeling you get after a draining day! x

  14. yes, yes, and yes to all of this! Comparison was the first thing I thought of before I read through your list.

  15. Hmmm, good question! I feel like I can be judgmental and really work on trying NOT to be. I also hate to be too busy, downtime is my friend, as is lots of reading time;)

  16. Absolutely yes!! Loved everything you said here!!! Tanks so much for sharing!!

  17. M says:

Too true, but also incredibly difficult. It's easier said than done. Jealousy, comparison, negativity – it's all horrible but how do we consciously say goodbye to those feelings?

  18. I feel like you just outlined my entire last semester…definitely putting on a fresh face and a new attitude for the upcoming fall! It is so easy to get sucked into all of these but it can really drain on you, mentally and physically. Great tips, wonderful post!

  19. Absolutely – this is SO true!!!!

  20. I agree with the overwhelmed tired needing to go.

  21. Miriam says:

Yes, yes and yes!! So very true. You will be an amazing mama, you have so much love and wisdom to share!! xo

  22. Crystal says:

Yes! I totally agree with all of this. I'm all about releasing negativity. If I find myself complaining about something, I let myself complain about it and then I let it go. (I'm also all about releasing the feelings by allowing yourself to acknowledge and feel them… so if I'm in a bad mood, I let myself feel that way for a short period of time, and then I move on with life…I find that if I don't feel it, I'm just stuffing it down.) Also, anger. There's no need to hold onto anger over people and situations. I've never seen anger help anyone, so just let it go.

  23. Beth Jenkins says:

Oh I love this! Especially the tired! I really need to work on that one!

  24. From one hoarder to another, I highly recommend the book The Lifechanging Magic of Tidying Up, if you haven't read it yet. I flew through it, and it has loads of great advice about how to get rid of stuff that doesn't bring us joy.
