Pep Talks
Hi, I'm Chelsea! I’m on a mission to help you find joy and goodness in every day.
On this blog we talk about the big things (like chasing dreams) and the small things (like what books we're reading) because happiness comes in all sizes.
Concerts with my best friend. Sometimes you find out that Mat Kearney–who you loved and listened to throughout high school and college–is right down the road from you having a concert. And when you find this out, you drop what you are doing and go to said concert.

all about some country music… esp. at a pool! enjoy girl
Kasey Musgraves is wonderful. I love that her music is always cheeky and full of sass. She's just a kick butt person. I saw her new album is called Pageant Queen and knowing her and the first single of "Biscuits" I can't wait to play that this summer!
Love me some Kacey Musgraves <3 I'm thankful for my sweet sweet hubby too!
you always put a smile on my face! thanks for the reminder.
Love the bit about your marriage! Knowing you'll have that person when you have nothing else is the best part!
Your thoughts on marriage are beautiful! Happy Friday! 🙂
This week has been sooo hectic at work so I am very thankful that reading books is a quiet activity to myself <3
Thank you for always putting a smile on my face! Glad you've had a fun week!
I cannot wait for our pool to open. And what you said about marriage is so true!
Well it's Winter here, but rooftop pools sound amazing right now! Ah I don't know. What am I grateful for? Sadly the only thing that comes to mind is my bed, Netflix and food.

The Life of Little Me
Thank you for reminding me to take time and think about gratitude. <3
You are amazing & your timing always seems to be right on. I love country music (the older kind) & I love my husband. He & I have been talking a lot about this lately. He knows there's nothing in this world that I won't do for him & vice versa. I do these things because I love him so much. It doesn't matter if it's a tiny little olé thing or something big. I just want to do it for him so he won't have to do it. This June 22, we will have been married 24 years. I love saying this, our marriage gets better & better as time goes on. So, you younger folks have a lot to look forward to! I am thankful for my husband. I'm also thankful that you seemed to have had a fun week. It does a person good to just get out of the house! Can't wait until your next post!
I love how you describe marriage & gimme all the country music all of the time 🙂
AMEN to the marriage point! It truly is the greatest blessing! I try to write 3 things I'm thankful for in each journal entry. I tell ya, sometimes it gets really difficult to get past the "Big" things, but it is so important, in my opinion! Hope you're having a great weekend!
I am thankful that the last two weeks went well at work with the spring musical (the kids do a musical every year, this year it was the story of Joseph), the awards ceremony (we don't have any 8th graders this year, so no graduates) and the big field trip that everyone stresses about today. I'm also thankful that the end of the school year is tomorrow. 🙂
Definitely agree with your marriage point…I think that is the one thing I am truly grateful for every single day of my life, my husband. I find it hard to believe that I deserve to be this happy and am so worried that one day he will be taken away from me, so I honestly do cherish him and our happy home xx
