Adventures You Should Go on This Year.
Go camping. Spending a night outside, under the stars, with a fire and some s’mores just sounds like a romantic way to enjoy life, doesn’t it?
Go to a farmer’s market. Farmer’s markets are adventurous because you never know what you’re going to find. I love the idea of planning a dinner and only using things you find at the farmer’s market.
Go on a road trip. Whether across town or across the country, when you’re with the right people, road trips are just fun. Especially if you look up fun things to do along the way to your destination.
Spend an entire day going to places you’ve never been in your hometown. Whether you’ve lived in your hometown for a year or your whole life, I’m betting there are some hidden treasures you’ve yet to find. Spend a day exploring; going to all the places you keep meaning to visit but never seem to get around to actually going.
Visit the library. I say this a lot, but I will never understand people who do not take advantage of public libraries. FREE BOOKS. What else do you need to know?
Go on a picnic. Give me some cheap wine and some fancy cheese and a blanket and a field and I’m a happy girl.
Go thrifting. Give yourself a budget and then do your worst. If secondhand clothes aren’t your thing, scout out furniture or fun home decor that can be revamped with a trip to the craft store.

love your lists! i definitely have a road trip planned to nola next month, and i always say i need to picnic on the weekends. there are so many parks near us – must take advantage!

I LOVE this list and enjoy doing several of these! Things like thrifting, visiting the library, and exploring new places in your town really are cheap little highs!

Great list! I love the picnics, road trips and library. I'd add go to a theme park or horseback-riding! I used to go horseback-riding as a kid and I loved it.

I plan on spending a lot of time at the Farmer's Market this spring and summer! It's less than a quarter of a mile from my apartment, and they have the most delicious Amish pretzels and donuts š I agree with you on libraries – I love free books! (And I'm much more motivated to read when it has a due date!)

I love taking weekend trips. The past three weekends my husband and I have gone to a new little city in Georgia and found amazing food and awesome craft beer places. We're also such big nerd that we've created our own little library. We own over 2000 books and turned a room into a reading nook. nerds.
I've already been to the library twice this week. So with you on that one.
I also like to walk around town at lunch, I'm always finding something new I didn't notice before.
My farmer's market moved further from me, I have to drive to it now, but I think it's expanding so that's exciting!
I am totally with you on the library. My friends think I'm crazy, but what's not to love about it? Free books, free e-books seamlessly put onto my Kindle, plus free movies and CDs – it's the best!
I love this list! I'm currently planning a road trip that I want to take with my boyfriend this year. We will see if it actually happens! Weekend trips and attending alllll the festivals and fairs Baltimore has to offer is on my agenda and I can't wait to get moving now that the weather is warmer! š
These are some lovely little adventures to go on, and sometimes I wish they actually happened. Sometimes I feel as if we go on these endeavours for the idea of it rather than the experience though.

I'm so excited to do all of these! Some are appreciating the ordinary, others are bigger and rarer adventures. It's good to do both and experience it all. I was hoping to hit up my first farmer's market of the year today, but it looks like I'll have to wait until next week!
Farmers Markets are an absolute favorite in the summer time, I enjoy the whole atmosphere!

Yes yes yes yes to all of the above! I climbed my first 14er (mountain over 14,000 feet) last summer and as a Colorado native I was sort of behind the 8 ball on that… I'm hoping to climb a couple more this summer, but your post has challenged me to find something new to try! š
